Welcome

The Chaplaincy is YOUR parish church if you're at the University, whether as a student or a member of staff. But its more than just a church, the Chaplaincy aims to be a second home for you. You'll find the Chaplaincy at 7 Wellesley Road, just by the dental hospital. Our How to find us page will show you the way.
 

Feel free to help yourself to coffee (or tea if you prefer) and then choose one of the lounge chairs in our cosy common room. You might like to read the day's newspaper, listen to the radio or chat to who ever's there. You can even get on with some work and enjoy casual distractions as you break off to contribute to the chatter.
 

In the interest of your safety and security there is a coded lock on the front door. The Chaplain and Pastoral Assistants are happy to give you the code so that you can come and go as you please and feel secure whilst you are in the Chaplaincy building. Simply ask for the code and then just enjoy everything that the Catholic Chaplaincy has to offer.
 

Food For Thought

Come in at lunchtime and make yourself a sandwich for just 70p. Get a cooked lunch on Wednesdays. Relax in TV Lounge and catch up on your favourite soap, news from around the world.
 

The Chapel For lively liturgies, and times of quiet reflection, the chapel is an oasis of calm. You can find out when Mass is held on our Regular Events page.

Fr. Pete

Fr. Pete works at the University, and is always ready to give a helping hand to those who needs them. He is a great listener as well.
