Regular Events PDF Print E-mail
The Catholic Chaplaincy Fellowship is more than just a student society. We are a community after the model of the first generation of Christ's disciples.

During the semester we meet many times a week; in fact normally there is something going on at the Chaplaincy every day. You might like to have a look at the following to get an idea of the kind of things that happen each week.

To avoid disappointment please check This Week to confirm the event is happening and happening at the time you are expecting it to.

Everyday

Chaplaincy mostly open weekdays 10am - 6pm

Sandwich Bar Lunches are usually available every weekday except Wednesday in the Chaplaincy between 12.00pm and 2.00pm.

Tuesdays

House Group is the weekly prayer group.
Prayer Praise and teaching from 7.00pm with food served at 6.15pm

Wednesdays

Wednesday Lunch (at approx. 1:10pm) is one of the main social gatherings of the week at the Chaplaincy. 2 students volunteer to cook lunch while many others volunteer to eat it - for the princely sum of £1.00. The food's usually good and so's the company. Come and join in the fun!
Fr. Pete's Wednesday Half Hours. 2.15 - 4.30 pm. Fr. Pete is available most Wednesday afternoons if you want to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, or just to have a talk with him.

Thursdays

The very popular Global Thursdays are held regularly at 6.30pm in the commons. The evening is an opportunity to learn a bit about another culture with input from our own international students. See the International page for more information.

Fridays

Womens evening are held once a month on various themes usually accompained with copious amounts of teas, coffee and cake. Everyone welcome begins at 7.00pm.
